Princeton of Japan has released another LCD monitor for the masses - a 21.5" model in the form of the PTFBGF-22RW. This is one of the smallest displays that are capable of a native 1080p resolution, although at that size, it doesn't really make any difference. Features include :-
- 16:9 native aspect ratio
- 300cd/m2 brightness
- 1,000:1 static contrast ratio
- 10,000:1 dynamic ratio
- 5ms response time
- 160-degree vertical viewing angle
- 170-degree horizontal viewing angle
You can opt to switch the aspect ratio to a 4:3 mode, depending on the input signal you're getting. Other connectivity options include a VGA port, two HDMI ports, a headphone output and a 3.5mm audio jack input. To top it all off, a couple of 1.5W speakers have been integrated into the display itself. All these for a mere $300? Color us impressed.
