Terabyte thumb drives a possibility

Terabyte thumb drives a possibility Researchers have successfully developed a low-cost, low-power computer memory that could potentially see it being used in terabyte-sized thumb drives in the near future. This new technique manipulates charged copper particles at the molecular scale, making them 1,000 times as energy-efficient as flash memory. Guess the 8GB and larger USB flash drives we see today are but pittance in comparison, but until then don't throw out your current hardware just yet as you'll be using it for a fair number of years more.
