Folks living in Europe will be pleased to know that LG has yet another high-end GPS navigation device known as the LN 800, taking over where the LN 700 left off. This GPS navigation system comes with a 4" touchscreen display at a resolution of 320 x 240. That sounds rather off since most screens at that size will feature 480 x 272 pixel resolution. That aside, the LN 800 is powered by the highly capable SiRFStar III GPS chipset with maps from Navteq and the navigation software from Destinator 6. Voice synthesis enables the LN 800 to announce street names when the voice guidance feature is turned on. Other goodies include a RDS/TMC traffic receiver, 512MB ROM, 64MB RAM, an SD memory card slot, and audio playback capability. The LG LN 800 will retail for €200.
