Rubiks TouchCube Lights Up The World

Rubiks TouchCube Lights Up The World

Solving the Rubik's Cube is no mean feat for a kid back in the late 1900s, but with the Internet, you can virtually find the answer to just about any question/puzzle, and the Rubik's Cube is no exception. Well, fast forward a few decades and you have the Rubik's TouchCube that will debut at the American International Toy Fair. This is described as the "first completely electronic, solvable Rubik's Cube", it retains the original's shape but its colored stickers have been ditched in favor of much more expensive lights. All you need to do is hit scramble and the blocks will be rearranged randomly. You can then get to work to solve it by swiping your finger on the relevant block. We're not sure whether this will grab the attention (and wallets) of the masses when released, but at least it offers a breath of fresh air.
