TRENDnet has announced its TEW-635BRM hybrid device that is actually an ADSL 2 and 2+ modem that offers superior broadband speeds of up to 24Mbps downstream, integrated an 802.11n Wi-Fi router that is able to hit a theoretical peak of 300Mbps over the local network when shared. In addition, you will also get a quartet of 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports as well as a switch for wired connections. Where data security is concerned, the TEW-635BRM comes with a two-layer firewall system and supports the official Wi-Fi Protected Setup spec that makes securing a wireless link between supporting computers a snap.
