Sony to Sell Media Content on USB Keys

Sony to Sell Media Content on USB Keys

Sony will use its MicroVault Click USB drive as a media to sell entertainment classics like "Thriller", "the Da Vinci Code" or "Men in Black". Sony is trying to create a synergy between its content and semi-conductor business by bundling both products together.

With falling flash memory prices, I have been able to buy a 4GB SD card for less than $4 on Amazon last week - good deal.

Sony sells "Thriller" for $19.99 while movies like "Da Vinci Code" and "MiB" go for $29.99. Will the consumer bite? That seems unlikely, but tell us what you think!
