Palm Nova OS In The Wild

Palm Nova OS In The Wild

Palm chief executive Ed Colligan has made it known that wireless carriers and developers already own devices powered by the new Palm Nova OS, which is exciting news since the operating system will be unveiled at next year's CES (just a couple more weeks) in an attempt to get Palm back on the right financial track. Truth is, theirs is an uphill battle considering the serious dent Apple's iPhone has made in the smartphone segment that shows no sign of letting up. Sometimes, it is just best to let sleeping dogs lie and go away gracefully, although there are still legions of fans who would wait for another decade or so for a new Palm OS. Palm won't be dropping support for Windows Mobile products though, as its new operating system will mor target consumer applications while Windows Mobile will be their platform of choice for enterprise devices.
