InPlay has come up with its WriteSense digital pen technology that allows pen inputs for capacitive touchscreen devices, doing away with the need for an individual electromagnetic digitizer while offering a much more responsive, precise and accurate input. Prototypes of this digital pen technology have already been tried by a range of OEMs and strategic partners, and we're thrilled since this would mean WriteSense could ride on the Windows 7 wave when that operating system is released. No longer will your capacitive touchscreen devices be limited to bare fingers with WriteSense, opening up a whole new world of touchy-feely possibilities with a much more formal tool.
