CSR has released the BlueCore Player - touted to be the lowest cost Bluetooth-enabled MP3 player in the world, costing less than $10. Meant for devices that are not made cumbersome with wires, the BlueCore Player also allows direct streaming of MP3 files in order to reduce power consumption. It was designed based on CSR's BlueCore5-Multimedia silicon with embedded DSP coprocessor and 16-bit stereo codec for high quality stereo sound.
