Wouldn't it be nice to not have to fumble with wires anymore? WiPower claims to be able to charge your device, without the use of the usual wires, which usually wind up getting tangled about two seconds after unwrapping them. WiPower isn't alone in its claims. The University of Florida has backed the device, saying that the product already "exceeds the efficiency of most corded chargers." (understand: it’s good enough).
Though, the company remains hush-hush on any plans of commercialization (why?!), it's a pretty impressive start. WiPower also says that in the next few months, they plan to demonstrate its use on a laptop computer. To be continued…
