Just when you thought landlines are about to die a slow and painful death with the emergence of cheap cellphones, along comes a
weather-reporting cordless phone and VTech's IS6110 landline. The IS6110 will be released this December and strangely enough, shares some resemblance to a BlackBerry thanks to the inclusion of a mini-keyboard. Too bad you can't send emails and text messages with this, but what you can do is send instant messages and make phone calls, of course. No idea on how much it will cost, but at least it breaths a life of fresh air to the world of home phones.
