US Army picks up recruits at arcades

US Army picks up recruits at arcades
America's Army which was first released on the PC platform and used as a U.S. Army recruiting tool will soon be available in an arcade cabinet. Featuring 8 training mini-games that brings true-to-life Army training exercises to gamers, you also get a drill sergeant that aims to ‘bring out the best in each player’. Competition is encouraged with leaderboards, although old school gamers will probably refer to this as the High Score. Points are awarded according to teamwork and obedience to the Rules of Engagement. I wonder how many people will actually want to sign up for Uncle Sam after playing this, and a place where people go to wind down with a pint or two isn't exactly conducive for a virtual shooting spree. This'll probably fare better in an arcade rather than the local watering hole.
