There is a new service in town that eavesdrops on Internet calls, displaying advertisements based on whatever the conversation is about on the screen of your computer. Puddingmedia's beta software yielded mixed results featuring both relevant and irrelevant ads simultaneously. You can check out the website here, and visitors will be able to make free calls to US and Canadian phone numbers. Actual speech recognition will be performed at Puddingmedia's servers in California, so your computer won't be bogged down by additional processes during a conversation.
