Sennheiser's Late Entry Into The Bluetooth Game

A few years ago, we would have expected a Bluetooth release from Sennheiser, but surprisingly, they have only just announced their first Bluetooth headset. The VMX 100 features VoiceMax dual microphone technology, which can intelligently distinguish between background noise and human voices. That is SO last year.

The VMX 100 offers 5 hours of talk time or 100 hours of standby time, depending on how big of a talker you are. Sennheiser does have one thing working for them though. Their smart 3D ball joint design allows the user to move the mic boom to where ever feels the most comfortable and offers the best sound. Is this enough to beat out any competition? We think not. But if it offers some serious Sennheiser sound quality, they might have a chance. More Sennheiser stories
