Panasonic was
first off the blocks to come out with a 103" plasma HDTV, and now Runco aims to emulate them by releasing the CinemaWall XP-103DHD plasma display. It comes with a native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 and incorporates DVI with HDCP as well as RS-232 inputs for you to connect to its outboard DHD Digital Controller. Initial impressions of the CinemaWall XP-103DHD have been pretty encouraging, with CePRO reporting "Runco’s next-generation DHD features a wealth of inputs and switching, and incorporates Runco’s ViVix II digital video processing technology, which prevents distortion-causing 'double scaling'.” You can pick one up (if your living room fits it, of course) this December for a jaw-dropping $99,995.
