Kopin and Sensio has teamed up to bring a new set of
3D eyewear to consumers by merging technology found in Kopin's BDM-922K binocular optical engine and Sensio's S3D-220 decoder chip technology. The final device is said to boast full-color, VGA-quality (640 x 480 resolution) video output that gives you the feeling as though you were sitting seven feet away from a virtual 48" display. This joint venture will be compatible with both PAL and NTSC signals. There is no word on a release date nor pricing, but will
3D TV actually take off eventually?
