NEC has just unveiled the new LCD2470WVX LCD display, and it is the latest addition to the MultiSync 70 line of LCDs. It measures 24" in a widescreen format and has a maximum resolution of 1,900 x 1,200, supporting the whole range of High Definition ratios courtesy of its HDCP-compatible DVI-D port. The stand of the LCD2470WVX is unique as it can pivot, swivel, and tilt for the best alignment possible, including pure vertical. With a thin bezel, the LCD2470WVX is extremely suitable for multi-monitor use. Other specifications include a brightness level of 400cd/m2, a 1,000:1 contrast ratioand a response time of 5ms. No official release date has been set yet, and the LCD2470WVX looks set to target businesses rather than casual home users.
