JVC launches KT-HDP1

JVC launches KT-HDP1

JVC has just launched the KT-HDP1, laying claim that it is the first HD Radio receiver in the world that can be retrofitted into any existing in-car system without the need to take out the current head unit. All you need to do is graft the KT-HDP1 inside your vehicle and you're good to go. I would advise you to have some pretty useful DIY knowledge since it comes with a DIT kit as one option, while there is another kit for home listening and a pro kit for a clean installation in most vehicle layouts. If you're looking to upgrade the sound quality of your morning radio as you commute to work, picking up the JVC KT-HDP1 is definitely a good idea. It can store up to a maximum of 18 FM and 6 AM presets in memory. The core HDP1 will retail for $129, while adding the DIY and home car kits costs an extra $49, while the professional-only kit will set you back by another $39.
