Belkin has just refreshed its TuneBase FM transmitter that sports the company's ClearScan technology which searches for the clearest station available automatically before beaming it to a nearby car stereo. Some cosmetic changes include the replacement of a button-only front face with a large LCD that displays the current station while indicating whether the Pro mode is turned on in an effort to boost audio quality and volume. The Belkin TuneBase FM transmitter also holds the honor of being the first of its kind from Belkin to support the newly released iPod Touch in addition to the iPod Classic and 3G iPod nano. Your vehicle's 12-volt port supplies all power required, and backwards compatibility goes back to the 4G iPod and the iPod mini. The Belkin TuneBase FM transmitter will ship in mid-October for $90.
