Linear has brought about
a breath of fresh air to its most popular standalone keypad models with new programming features. The beneficiaries of this move are the AK-11, AK-21W and AK-31, ousting the AK-1, AK-2W and AK-3 respectively. You can now program timed and toggled features for each individual entry code, making the task of programming the keypads much easier. In addition, the relay toggle (latch) mode is stored in the non-volatile EPROM memory in order to overcome problems associated with power interruption or reset. Courtesy keypad lights of AK-11 and AK-21W can also be programmed for user-defined time periods. The AK-11 is an exterior surface mount keypad, while the AK-21W is a weather-resistant keypad for flush mount exterior installations, and the AK-31 economy keypad is meant for interior use.
