The Toshiba TLP-X3000AU ($1199) is a LCD projector with a twist: it comes with a built-in anti-theft feature; a removable control panel and a self-assigned password. When the control panel is removed, the only way to access the device is to either input the password or replace the palm-sized panel (What happens if you forget the password?). The TLP-X3000AU also look to be pretty versatile with its features for both presenters and educators, as well as being able to be a part of your home entertainment system. When in Eco-mode, the lamp life is extended to 3,000 hours.
