Casio unveils prototype shooter
The IFA 2007 event at Berlin saw Casio release a prototype shooter that uses what probably is Sony's 60fps 1/1.8" CMOS sensor, capturing up to sixty 6 megapixel frames in a single second(!). Heck, it is even capable of shooting VGA video at 300fps, although I don't see any practical application for the average home user - then again, would such a person ever pick up this monster of a digital camera? Other features include 12x optical zoom and a 2.8" LCD display. It would be interesting to see what type of storage is used by this camera, especially when you take into consideration the high transfer speeds involved to archive that much data in an instant. | | |
