Word has it that Asus will be rolling out yet another variant of its 10.2" netbook known as the S101, and this time round it will feature a standard hard drive instead of a solid state drive. This variant will come with a 'H' suffix, and judging by the S101's thinness, it will probably be space starved to contain nothing larger than a 1.8" hard drive, which ought to be sufficient to hold much more memory compared to the current SSD option that has a maximum capacity of 64GB. There is no word on pricing and availability of the S101H, but the inclusion of a hard drive would probably point towards a much cheaper price compared to the current $699 you have to fork out for the SSD-powered S101. Other features like the amount of RAM, Wi-Fi module and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity are expected to be retained as well.
