Verismo Networks Launches VuNow PoD

Verismo Networks Launches VuNow PoD

Verismo Networks, the brains behind the VuNow Internet TV platform, have partnered with YouTube to offer broadband subscribers the ability to watch millions of YouTube videos directly on the TV as long as they pick up the VuNow PoD. This is the first solution of its kind that enables consumers to view content from the Web directly on the TV without having to own a computer as a middleman. As you can tell from the image above, the VuNow Pod won't take up more than your palm's real estate, which makes it a suitable addition for even space starved homes. It does make us wonder where's the fun in viewing YouTube videos on a HDTV assuming these videos available are not in High Definition, since the resolution will be so crappy when it is maximized, you'd best stick to your notebook or PC if you're a YouTube addict.
