Samsung has already done it, so it is now LG's turn to take the plunge by rolling out the KS660 dual-SIM phone. This tri-band handset has its crosshairs set on business people since it allows one to have both their business and personal lines simultaneously on a single device without having to swap SIM cards. It does feel like a half-hearted effort from LG though since the KS600 lacks Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, and both are pretty much staple specifications these days where business-oriented phones are concerned. Features of the LG KS660 include :-
- Tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (900/1800/1900 MHz)
- 3? WQVGA (240×400) TFT touch-screen display with feedback
- 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, and video recording (720×480)
- 50MB internal memory
- microSDHC memory card slot
- Integrated accelerometer
The LG KS660 will most likely drop by China, Russia and a few other Russian satellite states sometime in Q1 2009, while those in Europe and the US will be glossed over by the Korean electronics giant.
