We've covered our fair bit of pico projectors in the past, and it looks as though this tiny device is here to stay. Acer also wants in on the game, rolling out its K10 model that relies on a combination of Texas Instruments DLP technology and LED lamps. The Acer K10 pico projector is equipped with the following :-
- 100 ANSI lumens brightness
- Up to 60" diagonal image at 2.4 meters
- Native SVGA resolution
- 1,000:1 contrast ratio
- Vertical keystone correction
- Supports 4:3 and widescreen formats
The Acer K10 tips the scales at a mere 0.55kg, and it won't make an unsightly bulge in your pocket with its 127mm x 122mm dimension. Nice to know Acer has allowed the K10 to be powered by a standard Acer notebook adapter, clearly marking its intention to market this as a business companion device. Chances are the Acer K10 will retail for £299 thereabouts when it rolls out next January.
