Nintendo must be smiling and laughing all the way to the bank, knowing that their (calculated) gamble with the Wiimote has paid off handsomely, and you know you have a successful product when other companies emulate your hardware. Take the Wiimote for example - 3DiJoy has unveiled its FlingPC motion controller that is actually an accelerometer-equipped Bluetooth remote and a USB dongle, and each $99 purchase will come with ten custom 3D games to help you get started. Compatible with both Linux and Windows platforms, we doubt this will actually take off in a big way. After all, slightly doubling that amount will snag you an actual Wii (if you can find one in your area) that offers way much more fun.
