Nintendo has dropped the bomb on the Wii Speak Channel that will utilize the Wii microphone, enabling you and three other friends to chat with each other. Each microphone purchase will be accompanied by a coupon that allows you to download the channel. So far, there are still many questions lingering around, including the release date and price (two of the most important aspects), and whether an USB microphone can be used as a substitute? Hopefully the channel won't end up as a 4-person chatroom only.
