Technical update: Sonim XP3 To Arrive In The US

The Sonim XP3 rugged cell phone is but an updated version of the uber tough XP1, touted to be the toughest handset on the market at this point in time. In fact, Sonim has brought its phone on tour while encouraging spectators to do their worst in order to prove the legitimacy of Sonim's claims to great success. The updated XP3 will be hitting the US market soon with the following features :-

Quad-band EDGE
GPS navigation
Bluetooth connectivity
128 x 160 resolution display (what the?!)
3 megapixel camera
Flashlight mode

Just how tough is the XP3, you ask? Well, it comes with a 3-year no questions asked warranty and is able to operate within an extreme temperature range of -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, survive 6 to 9 foot drops on concrete and is 100% waterproof. No word on pricing is available, although you can look forward to it next March.
