Asus is out with another first (first uber successful netbook, anyone?), this time round with the G71 Quad Core gaming notebook. This model will sport extremely high end innards, including :-

• 17’’ Crystal Shine High Brightness display
• Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9300 processor
• NIVIDIA GeForce 9700M GT GDDR3 512MB graphics card
• 4GB RAM
• Up to 1TB of HDD (500GB x2)
• 2 megapixel webcam
• Bluetooth v2.1 connectivity
• Blu-ray writer

Sounds pretty action packed, but there is no pricing details as at press time.
