Velocity 83 Smartphone Unveiled

Velocity has unveiled its 83 smartphone at CTIA, and this Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional-powered handset will feature the following :-

• Integrated GPS receiver
• microSD memory card slots (yes, two of them!)
• 2.8" touch screen display
• Odyssey user interface
• 2 megapixel camera
• Wi-Fi connectivity
• Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz)

The Velocity 83 ought to make its way to the masses this November for around $500. Why two memory card slots, you ask? Well, one of them is meant for storage while the other is used to hold maps meant for GPS navigation.
