Panasonic Lumix G1 Micro Four Thirds Priced

Panasonic Lumix G1 Micro Four Thirds Priced

Panasonic has priced its Lumix G1 Micro Four Thirds camera at a level similar to that of a full entry-level DSLR when it is launched, and according to company executive Yasunori Takase, the camera with its 14-45mm kit lens will retail for nearly $800 when they arrive in the US. There is no word on how much the optional 45-200mm lens will cost though. I suppose with convergence being pretty big these days, the Lumix G1 helps blur the line between a camcorder and a DSLR, sitting in comfortably beside the Nikon D90 and the Canon EOS 5D Mark II.
