The Numark TTi is the latest USB turntable that boasts an iPod dock as one of its recording source options, enabling you to work with the iPod Video (5G and above) as well as iPod nano (2G and above), doubling up as a portable hard drive to hold audio files created by the recording interface found on the TTi. Just like its other USB turntable counterparts, the TTi features USB connectivity that makes it compatible with just about any other laptop or desktop as long as you have sufficient hard drive space. It uses EZ Vinyl Converter 2 and Gracenote's identification database to label tracks. Too bad the software is still run on a computer as it would be nice to see a portable version with the software pre-loaded on the turntable itself in order to weed out the computer as a middleman.
