VIA Mini-ITX supports Blu-ray Playback

VIA Mini-ITX supports Blu-ray Playback

VIA's new Mini-ITX design has just been released, and this one will target multimedia nuts with high definition video and Blu-ray disc playback and DirectX 10 support. In addition, you will get the following features :-

  • 6-channel surround sound
  • 16-lane PCI Express slot
  • Support for minimum 2GB DDR2 SDRAM
  • VGA port for LCD display
  • HDMI port on add-in card
  • 3 Audio jacks
  • Gigabit LAN port
  • 2 Serial ATA II slots + 1 IDE (PATA) slot
  • Four USB 2.0 ports
Supported operating systems include Windows and Linux platforms - Mac users are left in a lurch as usual, but then again that group won't settle for such mediocrity in the first place anyways.
