Sharp 5 Megapixel Camera Module is Thin

Sharp 5 Megapixel Camera Module is Thin

So thin, in fact, that it is touted to be the thinnest of its kind in the world. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the folks at Sharp are at it again, this time round offering the thinnest auto-focus, 5-megapixel CMOS camera module ever made. Despite being that size, it features a signal-to-noise ratio that is 1.6 times greater than the best current model, and that translates to better quality pictures. Dubbed the RJ63SC100, this will definitely be a firm favorite for manufacturers who want to cram in a sharp digital camera (no pun intended) into their products without having it balloon up in size. The square module measures 0.37", a far cry from what other 5 megapixel phones have inside. Full production will commence at the end of next month onwards.
