Via has announced two chipsets with integrated graphics aimed at the mobile (VX800, 5 Watts) and ultra-mobile (VX-800U 3.5 Watts) markets. While the raw processing power is not really comparable to a Core Duo system, it should be “good enough” to perform most productivity tasks.
The VX-800 will ship this month, a little ahead of the full deployment of Intel’s Atom.
