I'm not too sure why Plextor has to roll out both the PX-920SA and PX-B300SA which are able to read Blu-ray and HD DVD discs, with the latter being able to write BD-R discs as well. After all, the format war is already over with Blu-ray being declared the winner. I guess this device is a long time in coming, and for Plextor to scrap the entire line wouldn't make much sense so they might as well release it on the masses. Well, the PX-B920SA will retail for $599.99 and the PX-B300SA will go for $449.99, so you can bust open that credit card now. After all, with HD DVD movies on the cheap at this point in time, it wouldn't really hurt to see and hear the sound of perfect.
