A Macroswiss Spybot 6x6 is currently in the works for the US Army, featuring an improved payload capacity (quadruple its own weight) despite coming in a form factor that can be stuffed down a backpack, making it available to just about any soldier. This robot will be able to detect, recognize and identify targets from a distance, making it a useful tool for recon missions without having to endanger the life of the person controlling it. By sending back live imagery and audio information in dangerous sites, it provides ground personnel with vital information which could ultimately turn the tide of the battle. I guess every soldier ought to carry one of these distant relatives of the Decepticon Frenzy pretty soon.
