Drinking water from the tap is probably pretty safe these days, but if you're still paranoid then you'd best keep your fingers crossed that this concept from Samgmin Bae will enter production soon. Aptly dubbed BottomsUp, this portable water purifier is screwed on the top of most PET-type bottles that have been filled with tap water. Whatever you drink from the bottle will then be a whole lot better tasting. Hopefully that these will be washable in order to save our landfills from further burdens.
