Wiimote interacts with whiteboard

The Wiimote is one truly versatile device when placed in the right hands - Johnny Chung Lee has taken it apart and modified it to become a makeshift multi-point interactive device that works fine with a whiteboard. He uses an IR-emitting pen that is tracked by the Wiimote, where all relevant information will be relayed to a computer. This basically means you will be able to turn virtually any surface into a multi-point whiteboard with the use of a projector. How about letting your LCD display double up as a touchscreen of sorts? All that is possible with Johnny Chung Lee's invention, and he is generous enough to share the necessary software free of charge. Check out the video of it in action here.
