Bug Labs modular cellphone

Bug Labs modular cellphone

Bug Labs have come up with a modular cellphone that requires you to piece it together just like pieces of Lego. Naturally, different pieces would result in different functions. For example, if you don't feel like carrying the camera module with you that day, the overall handset will be much slimmer than normal, or you can always replace it with a GPS module whenever you want to head out of state. This Linux-based handset will feature four modules initially, comprising of GPS, a digital video camera, a color LCD touchscreen display, and an accelerometer/motion sensor. It is said to be released before the year is over, but since it is already December, that proposed timeframe looks too optimistic in my books.
