3DV Systems from Israel has developed the ZCam - a new 3D camera for PCs that are sensitive to motion where players are able to control on-screen action simply by flicking a finger. This is a whole new step upwards compared to what the Nintendo Wii offers at the moment. The camera tracks movements in three dimensions as it can sense depth. There is no definite price tag slapped on the ZCam yet, but when released, it will be in the region of similar video game peripherals. The ZCam will enter mass production sometime next year. I guess a boxing game using the ZCam will be much more intense compared to what you get on the Wii at this point in time, but be careful not to leave your opponent with a black eye in real life due to your over-zealousness.
