This is truly a clock of monstrous proportions. It was specifically designed to track a time period of 1,000 years, so questions about the current hour cannot be answered. The TiWalkMe concept uses a forest seeded along a ribbon of land in order to tell which year it is, where annual tree plantings will set the pace as visual representations functioning as a clockwork mechanism. The ultimate objecive would be to make a long progression of time visible as a method to focus on long-term planning, but I have a feeling nukes will wipe this clock (and us humans) out from the face of the earth before the TiWalkMe concept reaches the end of the road, assuming it actualy kicks off.
