Sharp is on the forefront of mobile technology yet again, with the intention to sell a new generation of ASV LCD displays for cellphone use that come with an integrated 1Seg tuner for TV buffs. This new display will utilize similar technology as those found in Sharp's vaunted AQUOS TV line-up, boasting a contrast ratio of 2,000 to 1 and QVGA resolution on a tiny 2.2" LCD display. Thickness is not an issue either, as this Sharp ASV LCD measures a mere 0.68mm thin. Sounds like next year would be a good time to pick up a handset.
