Seiko has new Kinetic watches

Seiko has new Kinetic watches Seiko did come up with a range of Kinetic watches in the past that relied on your body movement (particularly the wrist) in order to generate power to keep it going, and this tradition is still going strong with the latest Kinetic incarnation. Not only does it hold power in reserve based on your body's movement, it features a Direct Drive function that allows the wearer to wind up the crown in order to power the device. The wearer can see the direct transfer of power in real-time making it easier for you to know just how much power has been transferred over. I suppose watches like this would be perfect fodder for those who engage in sports like tennis and badminton on a daily basis, as the amount of movement involved would probably mean you need not touch the crown ever. The new line of Kinetic Direct Drive timepieces aren't cheap though - they retail for $1,150 upwards.
