Sanyo goes green with Coke

Sanyo goes green with Coke

Sanyo has teamed up with Coca-Cola to develop a new, non-fluorocarbon type cassette unit which employs a natural refrigerant (CO2) compressor. This new compressor includes an efficient Energy Management System that is used for beverage coolers, realizing high efficiency and durability. These new cassette units will be supplied to Coca-Cola in March 2008 next year and will be used in all Olympic venues to provide highly efficient cooling that do not affect the environment by using hydro fluorocarbons (HFCs), a potent greenhouse gas. I guess there is nothing quite like seeing how we are borrowing the earth from our children instead of handing it down to them to move us to do our part when it comes to keeping the earth green.
