Sanyo's Chideji Gorilla (NV-HD880FT) portable HDD car navigation system is the world’s first that comes with a built-in tuner for T-DMB programs, and with the generous 8" display you don't have to worry about squinting in order to see what's on the screen. You get a 30GB hard drive, built-in FM multiplex VICS that displays traffic jam information, and a USB port. Map data can only be used in Japan since it is compiled by Zenrin. The Sanyo Chideji Gorilla (NV-HD880FT) measures 206.8mm × 38mm × 121mm and weighs approximately 50 grams shy of a full kilo. It will be released in Japanese markets this November 26th, retailing for around $1,980 after conversion.
