Samsung has introduced a handful of TFT LCD displays that are on the cutting edge of technology, with a 40" full HD LCD TV panel that measures a mere 10mm thin. An LCD TV that size which shares the same profile as 10" to 20" LCD desktop monitors was unheard of just last year, but the engineers at Samsung have managed to do the impossible. The bezel has also been reduced from 30mm to 14.6mm, while the panel utilizes LED backlight that reproduces 92% of the NTSC standard for color saturation while boasting low power consumption of less than 90 watts. Notebook users are not left out by Samsung either, with premium LCD panels with a 16:9 aspect ratio that will come in 16" and 18.4" screen sizes.
