According to Jon Rubinstein, Palm's new chairman, his company is still approximately one and a half year off the mark from launching a new Linux-based operating system. Guess the new Palm OS will have to wait until 2009 - can the company hold out till then with the sure deluge of smartphones that will be released between now and then?
