Nissan is currently testing its slip-hazard warning system that could potentially help prevent accidents on slippery roads that happen in cold weather conditions. This advanced intelligent-system will take data from its ITS (Intelligent Transport System) and in-vehicle ABS (anti-lock braking system), computing it which results in the issuing of real-time voice alerts each time the vehicle approaches a slippery point in the road. Sounds pretty good, but hopefully the advancement in road safety technology won't make drivers too complacent and take an even more casual approach to driving instead.
